Tuning into the moon and celebrating its phases has been transformative, moving my family ever-closer to nature and her rhythms. What first inspired me to begin inviting other families, classrooms and organizations to walk beside me on this lunar journey began with offering the Free Full Moon Printable. It is difficult to believe that this is the fourth year I have the pleasure of sharing this resource with other families in the hopes that it deepens your relationship with the moon.
The poster features the 13 names and dates of the full moons for 2020 including one blue moon. The names first appeared in the Maine Farmers' Almanac in the 1930s and are rooted in Celtic, Native American, colonial and other ancient traditions. Each name speaks to timely seasonal shifts or events and serves as a powerful way for us to reflect on our own lives.
The Full Moon Printable acts as the guide for the Kids Moon Club. If you are interested in aligning more closely with the rhythm of the moon, celebrating the full moon rising and connecting more closely with your family and community, get on the wait list for the Kids Moon Club. I am closed for new members, but will be open for new members at the end of 2020.
